Mom's Meeting

Mom had a meeting to go to last night. I didn't want her to go, though, so I had a little hissy fit. (I'm not proud of it, but sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.) I started barking when she tried to leave. When she came back inside, I planted myself right in front of the door. She wasn't leaving home without me!

So you know what she did? She ended up taking me with her. I was really excited about that. I won, right?!

Mom's meeting was at a house where some other doggies lived. I got to meet them all. I was a little freaked out, I'll admit, because I can be pretty shy and the other doggies all really, really wanted to sniff me. That got a little annoying.

But you know what changed things? I saw that the doggies had A KITTY! I absolutely love kitties. I kept trying to follow the kitty around...sneakily, of course. Here's a picture of me trying to sneak close to the kitty.

The kitty's name is Scooby, and he looks a LOT like me. He's white with tan spots, too!

Here's another picture of me trying to get close to Scooby. I was being sniffed, though, by Buttons. That's right...there was a black Shih Tzu at the house named Buttons! She's a baby, though -- only 8 months old.

There were lots of times of chaos. Lots of chaos. Mom says it was 'cause there were so many little doggies all trying to sniff each other. This picture's kinda blurry, but that was 'cause Mom doesn't know how to work her phone camera yet and, well, we doggies were sort of all over the place.

So along with Scooby and Buttons, I got to meet Skeeter (a Chihuahua who's 5) and Sammie (a Golden Retriever who is only 3 months old).

Overall, I'm glad that I got to go with Mom, even though I was freaked out by being sniffed so much. I did get to see a kitty after all!

I love kitties.
