Double the Trouble

Double the trouble is double the fun!

This is what did tonight:

And then I acted innocent, of course.

"Who, me?"

And then I went and did it again!

And I acted innocent again... (After all, that's half the fun.)

It was a double-garbage-tippin' night for me!

That stupid box in the garbage kept getting in my way, though. I had trouble getting to the other stuff in there 'cause of that big box.

And do you see that black cord in the first picture? That's the cord for Mom's hair iron thingy. I got busted when I tipped the garbage over 'cause it made the hair thingy fall off the cabinet. Mom heard the boom, and she came running. Oopsie! I barely had time to assume the "I'm innocent" pose!

Mom just makes the mischief so easy for me...

Nice Napping

Sometimes you just have to nap with a toy in your mouth. If you haven't done it, then I suggest you try it sometime.

Weekend Woes

You know what Mom did this weekend? She made our 'puter sick! That's right. Mom got a virus on our 'puter and I couldn't update my blog. It was pretty sad. It was a virus that kept telling Mom that we had a virus but it was pretending to not be a virus. (Confusing, huh?)

I'm blaming Mom, of course, for getting the computer sick. The virus couldn't have anything to do with me starting on Twitter this weekend. Nope. Not my fault... (I just hope that Mom buys that.)

So Mom spent two days yelling at the computer. But then we think she finally made it all better. And she fixed it just in time, too...I've got pictures to post from this weekend!

Here's a picture of me trying to be camouflaged in my sissy's blanket. Gotta look closely to see me 'cause I blend in so well! (And yes, I still need more toys...)

I played a lot with my new squeaky fishy this weekend, too. That's what I was doing in this pic. I was trying to roll on the fishy in my bed and get it to squeak, but then I decided to chew on it, too.

Finally, I spent time this weekend enjoying my brand new doggie bed. Aaahhhh...

Napping is an obvious sign of a good weekend.

Tweet Tweet Tweet

Tweet. Tweet. Tweet.

No, I'm not pretending I'm a birdie...I'm just on Twitter now!
Mom let me have my own Twitter account, and I got to start Tweeting this past weekend. My Twitter account is @busybuttons 'cause Mom thinks that's soooo funny about me being a busy doggie. (Mom's so weird!)

Anyway, there was a party on Twitter this weekend, so I got to attend the party on my very first day Tweeting. How cool is that?!
My new friends Trailer Park Dogs made me an outfit to use for the party. It was a DudeFest party that was celebrating Hank the Doggy's 10th birthday. Here's what TPD made me:

Isn't that funny?! Mom took that silly picture of me and TPD added the other stuff. It was perfect for the party!

Want to know one of the best parts of my first Twitter party? They have quizzes at the parties and you can answer questions to win prizes. AND I won one! That's, right...my first party and I got a prize! I won a pretty plate for Mom that has a doggie on it and I won a squeaky toy for me. Can't wait until my prize comes!

New Doggie Bed

Mom came home with some groceries today and you know what else she brought? A new doggie bed for ME! Score!!!

I checked it out right away, of course. And I refused to look at Mom while I was investigating the new doggie bed 'cause I knew she had the camera out. Ha! I showed her. No photos while I'm checking out my cool new bed! (With Mom here, it's like I've got my own personal paparazzi.)

So once I checked out the soft top of the bed, I decided that I needed to check out what was on the other side, too.

Looks like the bottom has grippy things on it so that the bed won't slide on our tile/hardwood floor. (He he he...we've got carpet!)

"Good grief, Mom. Put the camera away!"

So the bottom and the top of the bed checked out just fine. Next up was a test of the bed's nap-ability.

Nap-ability = gooooood!

The next logical thing for me to do was to start piling other stuff on top of my bed. I had to do this to claim it. If I've got all of MY stuff on the cool bed, then Mom will know that it's mine and she'll stay off of it. So I put two toys on there, and then I pulled my other doggie bed over and put it on the new one, too. Still plenty of napping room for me.

I think I need to go take another nap there now...

Bad Mom!

This "diet" thing really stinks. It's ridiculous! You know what Mom gave me tonight?

Did she give me bacon? Nooooo.
Did she give me cheese puffs? Nooooooo.
Did she give me French fries? Noooooooooooo.

She gave me a stupid CARROT! Bleeech!

And that's where the stupid carrot stayed. On the carpet. That's right...I spit the stupid thing out onto the floor. Absolutely absurd that she'd give me such a nasty thing. Bring me bacon!!!

And then you know what Mom did after she ate supper? She left me! That really horked me. (I don't know if that's a word, but it should be.) How rude! She gives me a stupid carrot and then she leaves for the evening?! Just who does she think she is?!

I suppose I should cut her some slack about that, though. She felt pretty bad about being gone and me being alone. In fact, she felt so bad that she brought me...a squeaky fishy!

It's super-duper squeaky, too. I was a squeaking maniac after I got that cool fishy! I played with it inside a box for a while. That was fun. (I'm a creative player.) I tried to play with the fishy in the garbage, but Mom got all horked at me for that. Oopsie. But she did let me play in this box.

Mom said that if I used that picture, then I had to explain that the mess all around me is just my toys and some blankies. I keep pulling toys out of my toy box. The toy box is behind the cardboard box I'm playing in. Yes, I'm messy. He he he.

Anyway...back to my fishy. I had to test out the nap-ability of the squeaky fishy. It scored well for napping.

So I guess I shouldn't be too mad at Mom. I mean, that is a pretty cool toy after all. I guess I can overlook the carrot incident.

Oh, wait... I just remembered something. Mom brought an egg home for me today. She saved it from her lunch just for me. Oopsie. Maybe I shouldn't have been horked... Shhh! Don't tell her I was mad about the carrot...

Rawhide

I was getting a drink of water tonight when I realized that Mom was standing right behind me.

And then I saw what she had in her hand for me...a RAWHIDE! I got so excited. It was one of the rawhides that Santa brought me when we were at Grandma's house!

"Give me the rawhide, Mom!!!"

Yeeeeeees!

I took it over to my blankies and bed in the living room. That's a comfy spot. (And no, I don't think I have enough toys nearby...)

Then I started chewing away on it. Yummy in my tummy!

I had to take a nap after a while. All of that chewing sort of wore me out. Used my bee hive as a pillow.

Ahhh... It was a good night. I love those rawhides! Thank you, Santa!
