My Portrait

At a Twitter party not too long ago, I won a portrait from Joan Nardozzi, donated by Smokey8. After a quick (but sorta funny) detour to Germany, my portrait arrived at my house!

Here's me checking out the picture of me. (Ignore the partially-chewed bully stick by my head.)

The portrait is done in pastels, so Mom wouldn't let me sniff it very much. She said I might smudge myself.

Here's a close-up scan of my portrait. Isn't it just awesome?! Mom and I really, really love it.

It's based on one of Mom's favorite pictures of me. Cool, huh?

Big thanks to Joan, Smokey, and Fuzzy Freya (my temporary German host)!

COOKIES!

At a Twitter party not too long ago I won a prize from Lainey's Pawtique! Does that name sound familiar? Well, if you've read my blog for long, then you may remember that I got another prize from Lainey's Pawtique a few months ago! Pretty cool, huh?

They make such good cookies that it's now my goal to win a prize from them every couple of months. That way I am sure to get regular cookie deliveries! (Well, that or I need to get Mom to order me some of those yummies!)

Anyway, the last time I got my cookie prize, it came in a super big box. Since Lainey's Pawtique knows I'm addicted to toys, they actually sent me a HUGE stuffed dog along with my cookies. Isn't that cool?!

Well, once again, my cookies arrived in a super duper big box...

I had to act like I was ignoring Mom so she'd put down the stupid camera and open the box for me.

As soon as the top flaps were open, I dove right in.

I pulled that stuffy out of the box and it just kept coming and coming!

This time Lainey's sent me a HUGE caterpillar stuffy! I went to town...

I played like crazy with that caterpillar! Want to see me in action? Here's a little snorty snippet...

Not much can distract me from a new toy. I'm sure you probably know that if you've followed my antics for very long. However, when I saw Mom lift that bag of cookies out of the box, I knew exactly what it was and I was entranced...

After Mom gave me a cookie, I went a little nutso. Here's me acting like a crazy dog:

And I even barked and barked, insisting I get more treats.

I really don't understand why I couldn't eat the entire bag of cookies at once. They were YUMMY! Anyway, between the cookies in my belly and all of the playing that I'd done, I really wore myself out. It was time for a nap.

Thanks for the awesome prize, Lainey's Pawtique!!!

My Super Big Prize

A while back I won the grand prize in a contest on the Two Little Cavaliers blog. This was a huge prize, too. I got lots and lots of cool stuff. I'll tell you all about my prizes in another post, though, because today I've got to tell you about just one part of it...

Part of my big grand prize was a special package from Lainey's Pawtique and Bakery. They make lots of yummy cookies and other cool stuff for doggies.

On Monday, a giant box arrived in the mail. Just look at the size of the box! And it had paw prints stamped on the outside, too, so I knew that it was all mine.

In the box was my prize from Lainey's Pawtique! Lainey knows how much of a toy fanatic I am. And I think she also knows that I've had tummy problems lately. So, just take a look at what she sent me...

It's a stuffed doggie that's bigger than me! Yes, I went a little nuts.

Mom didn't get video of me dragging the dog around, but she did get proof of my plucking...

I've had a ton of fun with this guy. I like to pluck his ears and his tail a lot.

Mom and I even played fetch and tug with my new toy. It wasn't very easy for me to fetch, though, so Mom sort of threw it and then we both fetched. Here's me tugging on it.

Lainey also sent me some other goodies in the box. Mom played with those when I was attacking the stuffie. I got some yummy cookies, and valentines, and a smell-good ornament with my name painted on it!

Mom tried to get me to pose with all my prizes, but I was a little disgruntled because I just wanted to play. (And I look even more grouchy 'cause I need a hair cut...)

Here are some of the yummy cookies that I got.

Mom wouldn't let me eat many 'cause of my tummy issues, but she did let me have two cookies. They were so yummy that I followed Mom around until she hid the bag of cookies from me. Anyway, here's me eating a bone-shaped cookie (half is already in my mouth).

You know what Mom did? She actually ate two of MY cookies. Can you believe that?! I thought those were doggie treats for ME but Mom ate some of 'em. The nerve of her. She said they were yummy for her, too, so I'm going to have to watch to be sure she doesn't eat more.

Anyway, I went so crazy playing with that huge dog and then eating the cookies and playing some more, that I had to put myself in time out. I went into my princess tent for a while to chill out. (Mom spied on me through the tunnel, as usual.)

And then I ended up doing this for the rest of the evening:

It really wears you out, you know, playing with a doggie that's larger than you are!

Thanks so much to the Two Little Cavaliers for having the contest and for Lainey's Pawtique and Bakery for this super cool, perfect-for-Buttons prize!

My New Bling

At a Twitter party a while back I won some bling...and I do mean BLING! I actually won a custom-made collar from Sugar Chic Couture! Imagine that...a year ago I was a pooch in a foster home, and now I'm with my forever family and sporting some major bling! Cool, huh?!

Anyway, the package came in the mail today. It was pink, sparkly, and it had my name written all over it! OK, so maybe my name was only on the label...

"Stop taking pictures and open my mail. NOW."

Check out my cool collar!

Here's a close-up so you can see how sparkly it is.

I've got a lot of fur, so my new bling is sorta hidden in this side-view photo.

But you can sure see it when I'm playing! Isn't it beautiful?

Check out my collar in this video of me playing with my new Babble Ball. (And can you tell what sounds are coming from the ball and what ones are coming from me? He he he.)

Thanks for the bling, Sugar Chic Couture! If you wanna see all of the cool collars they make, check out their website. (And they sell TOYS, too.)

Rescue Mom

Guess what...I got mail! That's right. I won another prize at a PawPawty and it just came in the mail. I made sure I got to check it out before Mom did. (It is MY mail, after all...)

Romeo the Cat sells magnets that say "Rescue Mom" and "Rescue Dad" on them. His sales help him raise money for rescue organizations. He donated one of his magnets to the PawPawty, and that's what I won. Take a look at it...

Pretty cool, huh? Mom says we're gonna put it on our car. I told her I was o.k. with that. I don't really know much about magnets, so that sounds good to me!

If you're interested in getting a magnet like mine, be sure to head over to Romeo's store! And when you're at his website be sure you read all about the organization he's raising money for this month.

Romeo is also known for his great "wake-up tactics." He posts all sorts of ideas about how he wakes up his staff to serve him breakfast. Guess what...one time he even posted a wake-up tactic that I emailed him!

Thanks for the cool magnet, Romeo!

Party Prizes

Yes, that's right...the mailman brought me more stuff!

But before I tell you about that, I've gotta tell you about two other prizes that I won at recent Twitter parties...

At the May PawPawty I won a donation in my name to the party charity. Isn't that cool? The charity was the North West English Springer Spaniel Rescue. Smokey donated the prize, so when I won the quiz, he made a donation in my honor to help those doggies.

And then at the DudeFest party that was just last weekend I won another donation in my name! The charities that benefited from that party were The Hounslow Animal Welfare Society and Kaninchenrettung. So when I won THAT quiz, my friend Mario made a donation in my name.

Aren't those awesome prizes? We helped out all of those other animals and shelters! Very cool in my opinion.

At the May PawPawty I also won a gift certificate to NipAndBones.com. Smokey donated that prize, too! (Smokey rocks!) So I ordered myself some TOYS and some COOKIES. I guess that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, though. He he he!

I ordered myself this squeaky starfish toy.

It was SO much fun to roll on!

Oh...I suppose that wasn't very ladylike. Here's a more appropriate pose:

I also ordered a cool pink squeaky turtle toy.

Mom and I decided that the turtle toy would go on my seat in the car so that I can play with it on trips. Now I can't wait to go someplace!

Thanks for the cool prizes, Smokey and Mario!

Another Prize

I won two prizes at the Blog Party. I got the goody bag from I Love Dogs, and I also won a calendar from Amazon Cares. Cool, huh?

So...that means I got more mail!

Mom was taking too many pictures when she should have been opening my mail. So, I was forced to bark at her.

The calendar was wrapped up in pretty green paper. Mom was STILL taking too many pictures, though, and not opening the paper, so I had to bark some more.

OK, so maybe I just got on a roll with the barking... Mom finally opened the calendar up, but I just kept barking at her. Yes, I'm ornery.

Thanks for the cool calendar, Amazon Cares!

Goody Bag

At the Blog Pawty a couple of weeks ago, I won a goody bag from I Love Dogs!

So lookie what the mailman brought me the other day...

It was definitely my goody bag! They even put the goodies INSIDE a bag. Very cool!

And just look at all of this loot. There's a shopping bag and tennis balls and Frisbees and magnets and a pen and vitamin samples and a leash and so much other stuff!

Those red things are luggage tags. Mom thought they were really cool. I'm gonna hide them, though. She doesn't need luggage, 'cause that would mean that she might be going someplace. Personally, I think she needs to stay right here with me.

Thanks for all of the cool stuff, I Love Dogs! I love all of it. Well, except maybe for the luggage tags that Mom's excited about...

DudeFest Prize!

The mail man brought a box to me this weekend. I gave it a good sniff. Yep -- this box was for me!

It was a prize that I won for my Mom at the DudeFest Party! The prize is a cool puppy dog plate donated by Maggie. Mom loves it, of course!

And I loved playing with the box! He he he.

Thanks for the cool plate, Maggie!
