Review: Skinneeez Tons O Squeakers Bear

I'm on Baby Patches' Testing Team. Baby Patches runs things over at Nip and Bones. When you're a member of her tester team, she sends you stuff to review for her. Testers don't get paid to write stuff, so our reviews are totally honest. And we also get to keep the stuff we review, which is totally cool!

So the other day I got a new TOY to test out for Baby Patches. (You know how I love my squeakies!) Mom was busy messing with the toy, trying to take the tags off it, but she was basically tormenting me by not letting me HAVE THAT TOY.

I took matters into my own hands and just jumped up and grabbed it from her!

Baby Patches sent me the Skinneeez Tons O Squeakers Bear! Here's what it looks like when I'm not slobbering on it and plucking it:

After I got the bear away from Mom, I gave him a good inspection.

OH MY GOODNESS. This bear is Toy Heaven for me. When they say "tons o squeakers" they MEAN IT. He's got 19 squeakers! Seriously...19 squeakers!!! I ain't joking. There are squeakers in his legs, feet, arms, hands, head, and body. Just about every part of him SQUEAKS.

And because Mr. Bear (any toy with that many squeakers deserves a little respect) is stuffing free, he's super duper easy for me to get my little teeth on those squeakers. In my opinion, the easier to squeak, the better!

Mr. Bear also rates high for pluckability. I love to pluck the fur off my toys. Mr. Bear has just enough fur to pluck, but it's also short enough that Mom's not constantly pulling big pieces of fur out of my mouth!

And let's face it, with 19 squeakers, Mr. Bear is totally fun to roll on. And roll I did...

And I rolled some more...

And I even "crazy dog" rolled because I was having so much fun!

After all of my jumping, investigating, plucking, and rolling, I had to take a nap. Even though he's stuffing free, Mr. Bear made a pretty nice pillow.

The only downside to Mr. Bear is that Mom won't play tug with him anymore. We played a little bit (while we were playing fetch with him), but we heard a ripping sound when Mom tugged.

Mom thinks that one of the inside seams holding the squeakies in place must have torn open. We couldn't find any ouchies on Mr. Bear's outside, but he ended up with 2 squeakies in his foot, and one is missing from his leg. So, Mom won't let me play tug with him anymore 'cause she's scared we'll tear open something else.

Overall, though, I think Mr. Bear is an excellent toy. You just can't beat a toy with 19 squeakers that are EASY to squeak! I've been carrying him around with me for a while now.

So if you like a lot of squeakers and easy pluckability, go get yourself a Skinneeez Tons O Squeakers Bear!

My Mr. Bear is actually guarding things under our bed right now. I took him under there to watch out for monsters that could be hiding down there. And also, of course, to enjoy some middle-of-the-night squeaking. (Mom hates when I do that! Mwwaaahahaha!)

Review: Pumpkin Patch Treats

I'm on Baby Patches' Tester Team. She's the Chief Kit at Nip and Bones. When you're on the Tester Team you get cool free stuff and you also get to write a review on your blog. That's a "win-win" in my opinion!

So not too long ago, Baby Patches sent me some cookies to try out.

They're Max & Ruffy's Pumpkin Patch treats. Perfect for this time of the year! I gave the cookie a good sniff. They really smelled pumpkin-y!

And of course I chowed down. (Sorry...I was chewing with my mouth open...)

The cookies smelled so good that my Mom actually tried a little bit. She wasn't sure what came over her.

Anyway, I liked the pumpkin treats, but I'm not really a fan of fruits and veggies. I remember how much my former foster sister Sydney LOVES fruits and veggies, though, so I thought maybe she'd like to try these Pumpkin Patch treats, too.

I mailed the cookies out to my former foster family in New Jersey! Here are the girls checking out the package. That's Dixie, Sydney, and Shawnee!

Since I knew Sydney would like these the most, I sent the package to her.

I put a note in the package to tell her that she could share with the other girls, of course. Sydney could smell the pumpkin through the box. Look at her giving it a good sniff! (That's Shawnee's legs nearby. She must have been reading my note to Sydney.)

Sydney got so excited that she actually started LICKING THE BOX!

Here's her silly nomming face! She was really excited about the cookies.

My former foster Mom took a video of the girls eating the cookies, and you can see how excited Sydney gets about them. Now, one very important thing to keep in mind when you watch this video... Sydney is always a lady when taking treats. She's very careful to take them with her lips and to NOT use her teeth. But after a couple of these Pumpkin Patch treats, just watch what she does to her Mom's fingers! She got a little too excited, I think!

The girls loved the Pumpkin Patch treats...especially Syndey. Fifteen minutes after that video was taken, Sydney was still looking for any cookie crumbs that might have been missed on the deck. I think she'd definitely give the Pumpkin Patch treats four paws up!

Thanks to my former foster family for helping me to write this treat review, and thanks to Baby Patches for the yummy cookies that I got to share!

More New Toys for ME!

Baby Patches from NipAndBones.com had a happy hour a few weeks ago and gave away gift certificates to the store. Guess who won a gift certificate...that's right, ME!

I got a moose toy and a flappy toy. I love the moose toy 'cause it's stuffingless and that means I can squeak it easier. And I like to drag those stuffingless toys around, too. I played fetch with the moose for a while. Mom tried to take a pic, but I was just too speedy for her!

I played and played with that moose...until it was time for supper. Sorry, moose, but food is a priority.

The flappy toy is cool 'cause it's squeaky in the middle and has crinkly things on the ends. I took it into my princess tent to play with, but of course Mom had to bother me while I was playing in my hidey spot. The nerve of her!

I need to get a lock for my princess tent flaps.

Anyway, both toys have been super fun. Thanks, Baby Patches!

It's the Mother Load

Take a look at this picture from Friday...

That's right...TWO boxes came just for ME. I hit the mother load!

The first one was from Baby Patches at Nip and Bones. I won a prize from them during the February PawPawty, so that's what was in the box. They gave me some yummy-in-my-tummy Grandma Lucy's cookies! I gave the container a very good sniff.

And I had to pose nice before Mom would open the cookies and give me some. (You can tell I'm not quite too happy about having to sit there...beside the unopened cookies.)

Finally Mom opened the cookies up and gave me some. YUM! I wanted more, of course, and tried to convince her...

That "in Mom's face" tactic worked, too. She gave me some more!

Thanks, Baby Patches, for sending me those cookies!

The second box was from my buddy Boris and DogToys.com. You remember those monsters that I won at the Sci-Fi Pawty? They arrived! I unpacked the box myself. (I actually climbed all the way in it one time, but Mom wasn't fast enough with her camera.)

Once I got the new squeakies out of the box, I took them all over to my bed. (I have to do that so that Mom realizes they're MY toys and not hers.)

Oh, I'm in toy Heaven!!! Just take a look at how cool these new toys are!

The monsters were the prize I won at the Sci-Fi Pawty. Those two cool bunnies were special gifts for me from my buddy Boris. Isn't he the sweetest kitty EVER?! The bunnies have crinkly bellies and squeaky heads. So much fun!

I had to keep that Bigfoot in line. Gotta watch that guy.

Had some fun hanging out with the Sea Monster and Jackalope, too. The Jackalope came with a Boris whisker in his antlers! That was another special bonus, just for me.

And of course if you know me, you know I had to roll on the toys. Looks like I rolled on my partially-chewed bully stick in the process. Oopsie.

After all that playing, I napped on my new monster pillows.

Thanks so much, Boris and DogToys.com! I sure do love my new monsters and bunnies. There's just no such thing as "too many toys!"

Secret Order

A while back, my Twitter friend Baby Patches had a VIP Pawty for her online store. It was launching with a brand new name, Nip and Bones. Pretty cool, huh?

Anyway, I won a gift card at the pawty. I also swiped Mom's PayPal info and I used that with my gift card to order some toys and cookies. Mom had nooo idea, either. Mwhhaaahhaaa! (That's my evil laugh.)

So last week, a box arrived at our house. I acted all innocent, of course. "Oh, no, Mom, I have no idea what could be in this box! Did YOU order me something?!" (See the innocent look I'm giving her?)

Mom opened up the box and just LOOK at that loot! Three toys and some cookies. Woo hoo!

We played fetch with the squeaky chicky. It's REALLY loud, too. Mom was not amused by that, but I sure like it.

Here's a picture of me barking at Mom because she was taking stupid pictures and not playing fetch! Can't blame me for that.

I piled all of my new toys in my round bed, of course. See that blue turtle? Each time I try to grab its body, it slides across the floor. It's just a little too big for my little mouth. Been chasing that turtle all over the place.

You know it's a necessity to play with my new toys in my round bed...and you probably also know that I usually tip the bed on its side, too...

Now this takes true talent, though. I actually managed to balance my round bed on its side! Ta dah!

Now nobody tell Mom where the new toys and cookies came from...please...

Best Week EVER

I gotta say that this has been one of the bestest weeks of my life!

Earlier this week I got my cool new Kong toy in the mail. (I wrote all about that in my last blog post.)

Then yesterday I got an awesome present in the mail from my friend Boris Kitty. Boris sent me toys and t-shirts and a jacket and cookies and bacon popcorn! I love my buddy Boris! I'm gonna post lots more about my present later. Mom's got about a zillion pictures of me with my goodies. That gift from Boris definitely made this one of the bestest weeks ever!

And then you know what I got in the mail today? I got a box of toys that I secretly bought from Baby Patches' store! See, a little while ago I stole Mom's PayPal info and ordered some toys for myself. Got some cookies, too. (Shhh! Don't tell Mom!)

Ahh...so many wonderful toys and cookies and things...it's been pure bliss!

And you know what my Mom did? She topped it all off tonight by putting some little bacon crumbles on top of my doggie food! Yummy in my tummy!

Mom rocks. And Boris rocks. And squeaky toys and cookies sure rock, too!
