Rolling and Scratching

I must say that I'm a bit of an expert when it comes to playing with squeaky toys. Since I have bad allergies year-round, I'm also quite skilled at scratching techniques.

Did you know that rolling on your back isn't just for squeaking toys? That's right! I suggest you try this tactic the next time you need to scratch the top of your head or your back (if your parents aren't there to help, of course)...

Sometimes I combine rolling for scratching with rolling for playing. It's o.k. to do that, too.

That's How I Roll

I roll on toys when I play. And I've discovered that I can scratch some of my itchies when I roll, too. The other day, though, I discovered a whole new way to roll and scratch.

I usually stretch my legs out and cross my back legs. Not this time, though! Gotta itch just the right spots, after all!

Mom was actually worried at first that maybe I was having a seizure or something 'cause I never roll like that. But then she realized that I was just scratching. That's when she started taking pictures...of course.

I did manage to roll like that and also make two complete circles in that same spot on the floor, though. I thought that was pretty impressive. (Mom didn't get both circles in these pictures, but you'll get the idea...)

Yep. It's definitely a talent.
