Spam!

I've been bombarded by spammers lately.  They keep posting naughty stuff in my comments!  Again and again and again...  Anybody have tips on how to stop them?  Do I have to add the captcha back?

And since spammers are such an icky topic, I'm going to end this post with some cuteness:

    We removed the capcha, but all comments must be moderated by the blog's owner. A pain, but then we can catch all the annonymouse spam crap and throw it into cyberspace where it belongs in some far away galaxy. You have to check your email a lot, but mommy does that anyway....

    Gee-whiz. I do not have da captcha on my blog nor do I moderate comments and I haven't been receiving mean spammer poo. That's just terrierible, Buttons. I'm so sorry they doing that to you. Maybe blogger needs to put the bitey on them!

    Are you allowing Anonymous and name/url comments to be left? That will attract all kinds of crap comments.

    I say put the bitey on all spammers! But to do that I had to put the icky captcha back on mine. If'n you could at least SEE wot is it you is supposed to type in it would not be so bad. Grrrrr. Oh, and AWWWWW to your cuteness :)
