Puppy Poetry: My Allergies

I have doggy allergies,

They bother me year round.

Even with my medicines,

My symptoms are profound.

I get itchy skin spots,

And ear infections, too.

There’s yeast in my paws,

My eyes are full of goo.

They make me pretty sleepy,

And so I nap a lot.

My nose is always running,

With lots of extra snot.

So Mom fusses over me,

I suppose she aims to please.

But when she leans in for a kiss,

I almost always sneeze!
